KIC System
KIC Stands for Clean Intermittent Catheterisation. It is a method that allows the KIC condom drainage system to be opened and moved up over the Penis. This alllows for the penis to be properly cleaned and for clean intermittent catheterisation can occur. Clean intermittent Catheterisation cannot occur with Standard/ condom/sheath drainage systems without first removing the adhesve sheath and then reapplying it. Removing a standard adhesive sheath each time you want to catheterise would also increase the chance of skin irritation and/or breakdown.
